If your a Senior and you don't really care about your date or anyone else in your senior class that is going than I would do one of the following:

1. Just be a complete ass throughout the entire night (in a funny way not an a-hole way) and make the best of it. You know cause some scenes at dinner and what not...key to this is being creative!

or

2. Find someone at the dance who is in the same boat you are as far as item #2 and perhaps item #6 and work your magic with them instead. You may be surprised how often this actually happens and the end result tends to make for some excellent stories in the future.

I went with a aquantence to the prom, we danced for maybe 20min and talked for about 10hrs, saw the sunrise, and took her out to breakfast at a diner she'd been dying to go to but never gone. Maybe I didn't get drunk or laid but I had a really great time and so did my date, which is the important thing.

alright, maybe it wont be so bad after all. my best friend says he is coming after all, they actually let him off from work that night. i said i would meet him there. i actually have someone im really good friends with to hang out with there now. i took the girl i am going to prom with out to eat today after school and i talked to her some. i told her straightfoward that im not a good dancer and she said that she is not either, so i wont be embarrased dancing with her and i found out that they did not let her into the schools dance team, so she must suck as bad as me
