Wtf am I dying from?

Got sick around dec 10
Really bad cough with fever for 1 day. No sore throat
Its been persistent since then
Went to a cvs clinic around dec 17ish
Said it was bronchitis
Gave me a prescription cough syrup
Still not better
Went to a Walgreens clinic on dec 28
Said it sounds like bronchitis but since I've had it for so long, it might be pneumonia or whooping cough and that I should go to an urgent care place
Went to the urgent care place that night
Had chest X-rays done
Doc said looks like its just a bad bronchitis but she gave me a 10 day course of antibiotics
I started feeling a little better till this pas Saturday
Spiked a 103 fever
Sunday, fever gone but throat started hurting like hell
Today my throat still hurts like hell ( almost as bad as when I had strep) and now I have bad congestion + a runny nose
Coworker said I should get tested for mono cause he has it before and the symptoms are similar

Any ideas?
 
Bronchitis sucks big time. I had asthmatic bronchitis in the fall, worst experience of my life. Was terribly sick with breathing troubles for a good 2 months, and then one day I threw up a bucket load of mucus and then I was all better. D:

This is my second bout with bronchitis ( if that's what this is). First time wasn't as bad for me. If it is bronchitis, then it doesn't bother me to wait it out. The AB throat pain yesterday + today is what worried me. I just don't want to waste another co-pay just to be told the same thing 🙂. That's a 3 lunches right there!
 
If 10 days of antibiotics didn't help, you are screwed. Probably AIDS or something that is destroying your immune system.

I have this too except my throat isn't as painful as yours and OP's sound. Also, last week I was recovering from some kind of low-grade flu symptoms while my wife and daughter were recovering from asthmatic bronchitis and strep throat respectively.
 
Sounds like you are continually eating deep friend or greasy food that's loaded with bad bacteria from either the food itself or a dirty vat. Then maybe you are burning your throat from hot soup or tea or something that is causing open soars or burn marks along your throat opening passages for that bad bacteria to continually invade your system. Also if your gums are bleeding the dirty blood that drips down your throat can cause further trouble on top of your other symptoms.

I recommend keeping your teeth flossed and cleaned after every meal.

Use Vics vapor rub on your feet before you go to bed to get rid of the phlegm in your chest.

Protein shakes.

Pro-biotics to replenish the good bacteria in your body (beware of bad gas)
