WTF? AIM audio advertisements???

I was just doing some homework a minute ago and I started hearing funny things with my music, I turn up the volume a bit and start making out what it was saying "...better, faster, stronger.. the new AOL 8.0 for broadband... dun dun dun!"


Is AOL so low as to put hidden (subliminal?) audio advertisements into AIM?

I was listening to a CD a copied from my HD.

It's the first time I've noticed it, but I don't know if it's done it before or not.

I was just quietly listening to music doing some photoshop homework and I started hearing it.

AIM was running, nothing was open besides PS and AIM... and a couple utilities. I can be 100% sure it didn't come from those.

I had that happen to me for the first time the other day, it's not only audio, but the little ad has that stupid AOL commercial playing in it
