i use trillian..sometimes, but you cant be on 1 or 2 sn's for aim at the same time

I have no need for yahoo, msn or icq

it's a latest craze by the teen boppers and their social life. you too can be "cool" by appearing to be idle but you're not!

The renaming of buddie's screen name is a great feature. I had that with Odigo to correct some of the really crazy/cryptic stuff with some of my buddies.

but you can already be idle any time u want! use instand idler! I use it to be "away" when i'm coding so ppl wont' bother me.

Well yeah Trillian has an excuse to be bloated, it's four messengers in one (and IRC, but who uses that function instead of a real client)

But I'd rather have Trillian open and bloated than AIM open and bloated, ICQ open and super-bloated, MSN open and annoying, and Yahoo making funny noises. Personally, I think AIM's the best interface and client period. But while I have 200+ people on various other lists, I can't get them all to switch at once

I like aim + better....you can do everything Dead Aim does with Aim + and more....besides the pop up thing as if it were MSN messenger...thats pretty cool. but i can live with out it
