I just bought my motherboard, and while I was reading through the manual there is written

"Due to CPU limitation, DIMM modules with 128MB memory chips or double sided x16 memory chips are not supported in this motherboard"

Does this mean that for example this value ram :

((((( Corsair 1GB DDR Value Select PC3200 CAS3.0 (VS1GB400C3) (MY-062-CS)
The Value Select line provides quality, tested, compatible desktop memory at competitive prices. The Value Select line is qualified for major current desktop systems. All Value Select modules are backed by Corsair's comprehensive lifetime warranty.

- Pins: 1 x 184
- PR Rating (PC): PC3200
- Clock Speed (MHz): 400MHz
- CAS Latency (ns): 3.0
- Module Configuration: 128M x 64
- Warranty: Lifetime
- Corsair Part Number: VS1GB400C ))))))))))))))))))

is not supported in an Asus A8N-SLI deluxe motherboard which costs the hell out of you ?

All 1024MB (1GB) modules are organized as 128M x 64. This isn't the "128M" to which Asus is referring.

It means 1024Mbit DRAM chips (1024Mbit = 128MByte). This would be, for instance, a single-sided 1GB module with 8 chips, or a double-sided 2GB module with 16 chips.

The Corsair Value Select modules almost certainly use 512Mbit (64MByte) DRAM chips, which should work just fine.
