Since this attack occured the gas stations have jacked up the price up to $6 a gallon. That is just sick, there should be price caps in this time of crisis.

Somebody should lose there license for this behaviour.

ah, let them charge what they want. if the market can not withstand their price, they will have to lower. Think supply and demand, people.

oh, good thing I just filed up yesterday. I haven't looked at the local prices here, I haven't driven by a station tooday.

Only a few stations have done this, it's called price gouging. Because of the few that have done it, everyone is panicking thinking gas prices are going to be astronomic. I just paid $1.25 a gallon about an hour ago. Quit worrying.

Thousands of people have died and you're reading threads on an online BBS about gas prices.

1.25!!??? Its $1.79 (9/10) for regular and 10 cents more for PLUS and 20 cents more for Premium here in the Northwest. We are getting jacked anyways.

On my way home from work I filled up at $1.67. Now 4 hours later gas is at $2.39 and every gas station on every corner has cars lined into the street to fill up. Blatant price gouging.

From some of the prices I've read in this and other threads, I think when the dust settles, a lot of gas station owners are going to be up on gouging charges.
