That's why Timber Rattlers are so scarce now, idiots like him that KILL everything that moves. He could have stepped back and went the other way. I am a hunter myself, and have walked by many of those guys and his friends, and that's NO reason to just kill them, just because they are there. :|

Bah, why did he need to kill the snake?Poor animal....

Ignorance is the reason why most snakes in the US get killed.
Well, in the case of Arkansas, it's "ignert"

hey its all good with the arkansas jokes, got any good inbreed ones??? im sorry i would say one back but i over came this while in the 7th grade, how old are you?

and cable god, stfu, last time i checked what do snakes do for us? hmm oh yea the only thing they are good at is killing stuff. you wouldnt kill it? ok :cookie: for you. so im guessing if a bear attacked you or a gator bit your dog while duck hunting, you would just wave at it and wish it a merry christmas??

please, if he wouldnt have noticed it before it noticed him, he would be dead. its not like he saw it on the road and said "omg a snake, lets kill it" he was walking through the woods and almost stepped on it. maybe i should have clarified that in the OP, i forgot we have people who talk out of their ass quite a bite. refer to my sig please.

good day

I really dont have a problem with you killing the snake but I find this hard to believe. Snakes only strike when startled.. they defend themselves. The fact that your brother saw the snake and it hadnt already bitten him tells me that he could have walked away just fine. It wouldnt have followed. They dont waste their poison.

he wasnt smiling because he was proud he got a 5 foot snake, wow does he get a certificate to anywhere, please LMK if so!! we were bs'ing with him and i took it while he was laughing.

some of the ignorance posted in this thread amazes me. well look at it this way, he should have let him, let him go produce 10 eggs, then maybe one day while your kids are taking a nice hike through the forest, they get to play with the baby snakes.

stfu please?

how many times have you been in a situation like this? so you would take a chance of passing it and letting it by someone else when you can just kill it and not risk it biting a small child(how would your reaction be to that one???)

im interested to hear your arguement.

Not that I care that the snake is dead, but by your logic we should kill every dangerous animal to save the children, which could be one of the most retarded things I've heard in awhile.
