Ok, so I sold a system in a forum, and for lapse of memory and being rushed out of the post
office, i didn't insure the package ( 36lbs).

The package was to be shipped to a civilian location in a military territory.
It's been 40 days, and it hasn't shown up. Opened up investigations up the ying yang.
They wont even rehinburse my freaking $66 shippign fee.

What's the reasonable thing to do.

obviously, wait a bit more, just in case.
so the scenario is, i lost in paypal fees, and i los tin shipping. I want to be a good trader.
Obviously, since there is no insurance or tracking, I cant even verify delivery.

so what do i do?

* rehimburse the remainder sans paypal fees and shipping
* I have a similar but more expensive item, so give him that one
and have him pay for shipping and maybe a bit extra ? ( the differnce in prices
is around 25% )

* others..

either way, not a great solution for neither.

What to do if the package does eventually show up... ?

double payment?
Get him to sell locally and pay me whatever he gets?

arrgh this sucks.

suggestions?

:( Sorry dude, either way looks like you're going to be out some $. I'd go yell at the post office until they did something. "Don't give up the fight"

note to self: Use UPS.

lol! breath easy this time, but never send stuff uninsured unless its pretty cheap. posties can b*stards and love to break stuff (they'd find a way to break adamantium if it existed)

P.S. before i get flamed over PM by ant potmen/women, i said "can" :p, and "adamantium"
