WTB: Wireless mouse for Powerpoint presentations

I'm the seminar projectionist at a University. I've been thinking about getting a wireless mouse for use with the PC/videoprojector combination in our seminar room. I have a budget, but don't know what to buy. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I tested an ordinary Logitech wireless mouse, but the range was only 2-3 yards.
 
Any ole wireless mouse will do.
What you need is a series of relay towers strategically placed around the room to boost the signal.
Also, while this is the proper forum section, I bet you will get more luck in OT or GeneralHardware.
