Anyone know where to get this stuff? Usually it comes on small electronic organizers and things like that. It's just a clear plastic sheeting that is held on by either static or a very light glue. Sometimes they print the display from the radio or electronic organizer on it so you know what the display will look like. I figure it would be great for covering monitors and just about everything scratch-prone.

...And saran wrap isn't a viable alternative...

You mean a screen protector? What are you doing to your LCD that you need a screen protector? Besides, it'll add glare to the screen as well. Even on my PDA i stopped using them (i used nushield).

Radio Shack, Circuit City, Best Buy, etc etc.

Is this the same stuff? Any idea on the dimensions/price?

didn't realize you wanted to cover a whole monitor.

WHat about vinyl sheets?

Not covering the whole monitor, just the screen. I've had alot of ideas for this stuff, though. I'd like to use it on my windshield for the nascar effect, though I doubt it will work very well (probably a bad idea all around). Mostly I just want to cover the monitor screen and the wireless receiver for my keyboard.
