Where should I go online to get a Duron 700 with the pins still intact? Unlocked would be nice too... But I want it to be around $100. I checked some of the sites on pricewatch, but they don't say whether the pins are in or not.
Has anyone else gotten a 700 lately?

My main worry is the pins. I can always pencil the bridge if I have too :)

I just purchased a 700 last week (Thur to be exact) from one of AMD's official wholesalers. The wholesale price of the 700 from 'Official' distributors is about the $100 your looking for. (I have a small custom software, cosulting, and var business so we buy direct). The chip which arrived (week 37) has its pins intact and is currently running @ 981 Mhz on a KT7 with water cooling. (Really nice sub 40C temps under load with an ambient around 30).

btw: A Duron at 981 outperforms a 1Gig Athlon Classic! (Most of the reviews compare a Duron 700 to a Classic 700 and the Classic is slightly faster, however starting at 750 the cache speed on the Classic goes south and the Duron then beats the Classic).

Thanks for the info. So what site did you get it from? Or am I not allowed to buy from it since it is wholesale? Know of any good resellers? I am thinking about Jcshopper, or ComputerComputer.
