The only apps installed on my iPad are either 1) published by Apple or 2) extremely common (Google apps, Words with Friends, Facebook), or "Editor's Choice" / "Featured App of the Week" stuff promoted by the highly curated App Store.

I do plan to wipe the iPad at some point, but it generally works very well.

We can't seem to replicate the experience. We certainly don't run this type of ad. It may well have been a fluke.

Please let us know if anyone else spots this in the future, or if it shows up again.

My encounter was 9 minutes before I posted. Time is in the screenshot (Eastern).

At times, when clicking on a thread (across multiple forums) I have been getting an attempt at loading an additional web page.

This time I captured the attempted URL as reproted - these popups are getting blocked by the IT system but are reported to me. I do not know if this is the same URL each time; will start to pay attention
