That said... how could anyone expect Romney to be any different than Bush, Reagan, or Hoover in that regard?

Wilson, Harding, and Coolidge were in the wrong parties IMO... and if that little bitch Wilson hadn't fucked up the Democratic Party, then we'd be a lot better off because the Democrats used to be the libertarian Party and the Reichpublicans were the statist communo-fascist Party. That is, the Republicans were National Socialists (union over liberty, paper money, public works projects, encroachments of civil liberties, massive centralization of power in the Executive, corporate subsidies, master racism/Anglo supremacists, mercantilism, imperialism, foreign nation building), who at the same time supported Marxists and were supported by Marx and the Democrats were the party of the freedom of trade, gold, civil liberties, non-interventionism, peace with all nations/alliances with none, low tax revenues, low public spending, more consent of the governed, and States' rights.
