The original assertion that blacks vote in a racist manner is not mine to disprove, but rather the other way around.

The overwhelming support by blacks for Dem presidential candidates since 1964 means that their voting for Obama because he's black is an absurdity. They'd likely have favored any Dem by the same margin.

I believe Obamas support was higher than average, but in any case I'm disinterested in any claim. I'm pointing out that the rebuttal is scientifically flawed as is the original premise. It's about what someone believes based rather than a definitive answer based on sound methods. This is unfortunately standard fare for emotionally charged topics. Assertions based on assumptions.

You have to look at Democratic primaries where a AA ran and look at those percentages.

But this news is not surprising at all, the black community will always vote for wealth distribution and entitlements which is a Democrat platform. This being the first AA President probably hinders any logical position based voting and leans more towards a historic vote for their community. In 2008 if Jesus was factually proven to be white, came back and ran as a Republican he likely would have gotten none of their votes.

Anyone thinking they voted for him for any other reason other than his skin color are kidding themselves. I don't agree with it but I completely understand why they voted for him.

Why do you hate black people so much . I can't think of one reason for you to believe that blacks cann't get a voter ID. None . I will have to get one as will all others but you insult blacks bye saying they will be disinfranchized. If I was black I would find out were you live come over and stick a watermelon up your racist ass. ...

Yeah, you sound really credible on the issue.

This is about as bad as the whole 'birther' argument. You may be able to account for a couple of percentage points because of his race, but the vast majority is about policies.

And I said to look at the percentages for Democrat primaries for a realistic percentage. Look at the turnouts from 2000, 2004 and then 2008.

It was a historic vote, and had little to do with policies not that they didn't already love them once he won the nomination.

And please spare us anymore comments about birthers, you 're being silly.

Yeah, in the first Obama campaign, his race most certainly played a big part. That is to be expected. Same will happen when a woman is actually the presidential nominee - women will most likely vote for her in droves.
