WSIB - Video Card

After much reading and searching here's what I've come up with. I would think my best bet would be go a little over budget and pick up the 9600 PRO. Is it really worth two times as much as the 9550? How does the Pro stack up against the nVidia I've located? Is there another card in my budget that I should look at?

$113 = GIGABYTE or GECUBE RADEON 9600PRO 128MB DDR 8XAGP
$89 = APOLLO nVIDIA GeForce FX5700 Video Card, 128MB DDR, DVI/TV Out, PCI Model "BLOODY MONSTER 3 GEFORCE FX 5700"
$64 = ABIT ATI RADEON 9550 Video Card, 128MB DDR, 128-Bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP, Model "FALCOX 955" -RETAIL

Madden 05, Nascar 04, Knights of the old Republic, Pacific Fighters once it comes out. Maybe SW Battlegrounds.

Personally I would go for at least a 9600 Pro with those games in mind. If you find the 9600 Pro price hard to swallow, find a used 9500 Pro. They are actually faster than the 9600 Pro when both are at stock speeds. You can find them on ebay or in the FS/FT forum for under $100.

of the ones you listed, i would for the the 9600pro. but if i were you, i would really think about saving up a few more bucks and going for a used 9800/9700.

Go to at least a 9700 pro if you are a gamer and are going to use the card for awhile. Both the Egg and Crucial had some refurbs for $130.
