bahaha and he tried to get it fixed under warranty and some guy from the boards emailed all the dealerships in his area and warned them about him so he got screwed. that's pretty fvcked up, but the guy was an idiot in the first place so he deserves it.

Cliff's notes: the guy was running 18 psi boost on the stock turbo. Engine go bye-bye.

And then he removed all the mods and tried to get it covered under warrantee, and they accepted it, until he posted about it, laughing, and acting like a complete dipsh!t, so another forum member send a link to the thread to all SOA dealerships in the guy's area, and they caught him.

the last page pretty much seals the deal,
The initial place he went to turned him down. The second place initially said okay, but after seeing all the little telltale signs of modding in his car (and after reading this thread), turned him down. Then he went to a third place, after I already told him that I'd sent the info SoA and all the Seattle dealerships. They got WRXs2Fast4U to sign an affidavit saying that he hadn't modded his car (even though it was OBVIOUS that he had). That right there is an open and shut fraud conviction if they want to go after him. And since he's continuing to try to find a dealer to cover it, and attempting to defraud dealership after dealership, they're getting more and more likely to actually go after him.

also in the same light as a couple cases involving idiots who work at service departments in dealerships joyriding/abusing the cars and bragging on a message board about it, then the owner finds out from the message board.

I love that the guy sent an E-mail to the Subaru dealerships. Classic. :)

I also love how the idiot thought that the stock injectors and FI computer would be fine for 18 PSI of boost just because he modified a fuel pump. LMAO!

I don't know the first thing about car engines and modifying whatnot, but that was still funny.
