I've got a spare BEFW11S4 v4 and a WAP11 v1.1; I run a WRT54G for wireless service in my home -- I was hoping to use one of my spares as a wireless bridge -- is that possible with either of my spares?

Welcome to AT Network Forum.

The WAP11 should be able to Bridge with the BEFW11S4 v4 (WAP11 cab be configured to work in Client Mode).

The WRT54G would be able to work on its own being compatible with the 802.11b harware but would not Bridge, or and work as a Client, unless you use a second WRT54G with 3rd party firmware.

Thanks Jack.

I already have the wrt54g setup as my main wireless device, using laptops to access it as well as a 2nd wrt54g connected to my ReplyTV so it has access to the internet.

You're saying that I should be able to set the wap11 as a client and use it like a wireless card right? I can't find any documentation instructing me how -- I will look into the client mode option.

Can not find a client mode option on the BEF11S4. I've been searching the web for a solution and have only found many requests for one, but still no luck.

Linksys 802.11b Wireless Routers can not work as Clients.

The WAP11 (it is an Access Point) should. I did not deal with WAP11 for long time, I am sure that there are versions that do Client, might be that some versions do not.
