WRT54G as a Client?

Is there a way to turn my WRT54G into a client that is hard wired to my desktop PC, but connects wirelessly to another router that is somewhere else in my house? The Satori 4.0 firmware looks like it has this option, but I have been unable to get it to work.

Are you looking to have this act as a wireless bridge? I'm a bit confused by what you are hoping to accomplish here.

I guess so. I want to hard wire my PC to the WRT54G. I want the WRT54G to then talk to my main router which is conencted to my cable modem. That way I don't have to run wires to remote locations in my house. I know I could get a USB wireless adapter to connect to my PC, but I figured since I have no other use for the WRT54G, if it could then work in that manner, it would be preferred.
