WRT54G and WUSB11 having problems

Here's the problem. I have a WRT54G wireless router and I recently reformated. The settings were perfect before I reformatted. Now, with my WUSB11 Wireless Network adapter, I get constant drops (without even the connection even dropping.. it says it's still connected but the internet dies).. I had settings before that seemed to fix this.. anybody know what settings they are? If I remember correctly, they were MTU settings
