WRT300N setup

Hello,

I am currently configuring a wrt300n router for use with wired and wireless connections

-I would like the router to provide DHCP to all wired workstations on the network. The network will have shared resources and will serve as an intranet

-Wireless connections should only be able to access the internet and nothing else. They should not be able to access the wired network at all, including the shared resources. Basically, the wireless and wired networks will be completely isolated.

The closest thing I can think to accomplishing this is to implement a VLAN.

Does anyone know a good way of doing this on a such a router? Or is there a better option?

I think you would have to use a vlan. I do something like that here. Port 20 on the core switch goes to another switch which is on a diffrent range of addresses and i have a vlan setup on the core router and have the filter rules set so it cant see the other network. I do this so when i work on computers that have viruses i dont have to worry about them being able to see my other stuff.
I would do the same thing in your case just setup the same thing then use a second AP on the isolated network.
