Wrong song lyrics

I just found out today the real lyrics of a song I've been listening to forever ("Athena" by The Who). All these years I thought they were saying "She's just a girl. She's a whore", when in fact they were saying "She's just a girl. She's a bomb". WTF was I thinking? Anyone else ever do this? What was the song and what did you think they were saying?

I'm happy I'm not the only one who heard in Sheryl Crow's "Superstar", something other than 'You're all cheap shoes & malibus & big public fights'. I heard something about big puffy thighs, took me a while to track down the correct lyrics.
