wrong cd key worked online . . . .

i have the zero hour cd, and while installing it, my kid brother punched in some stuff in the cd key while i was looking for the case, and, i know this is weird . . . .it actually worked! and . . .being anxious to play the game, i started playing it w/o giving much thought to this. . . .i also started playing online. . . .now what would happen?
 
if they find out its not the right CD key, they could ban your account/cd key, then u just enter the real one hehe
