Guys, i have XFX 5850 and LG 24'' W2453V-PF LCD, so iwas using VGA cable and had no problem, i decided switch to HDMI and now my screen shows 1080P resolution with 1/2"
black bevel all arround, i changed HDMI cable by another one but have same problem. Just played some games without that "frame", CRYSIS got 1/2" frame too.
Using Windows 7 Ult. Does all HDMI and 24" LCD's same thing?
Any recommendations?

You probably need to use the underscan/overscan feature in CCC. With VGA your monitor was probably doing the conversion automatically, with DVI you need the video card to do it.
It's under Desktop and Displays, the right click and choose configure. Then choose scaling options.

Make sure you have your display set to "fill" not "scale" and the black side border will go away.

It's not a problem. It's pretty normal and an easy fix as long as you can remember where they hid the overscan in the new CCC.

Not really a problem. I think some monitors now are act like TVs so you need to use the underscan/overscan features. Before the advent of 1080p monitors, all the monitors I've seen automatically do 1:1 pixel mapping and some fancier TVs had that option in their menu. Now it seems manufacturers ignore that feature entirely so you need to use your video cards underscan/overscan feature. Not a big deal, but still kind of annoying.
