writing a song takes hella long time

damn, right now i'm feeling so many emotions and i'm finding that writing them down somewhere results in the writing of lyrics for a potential song. the lyrics are the easy part tho, finding a tune for my lyrics is damn hard. i've been experimenting with a program called 'fruity loops'. despite the fruity name, the program is pretty versatile and good. do any of you write music?

I do. I've been in various bands over 6 years and made uh... I'd guess over 30 songs total. Most songs were made with guitar which is my main instrument. Some songs I made in less than a day, some took weeks or even several months to complete, it all depends of the inspiration.

yea, the inspiration, i could write lyrics about so many things, emotions, thoughts, life. but damn i just want it to come out r&bish like craig david...haha...he's my inpiration, his style is dope.
