writing a resume

i'm a blue collar type of guy and since my first job out of HS, i haven't been required to write a resume. i'm applying for another blue collar type, but evidently, a resume is preferred. where's a good place to get a good idea on how to structure a resume as well as pointers to pad your employment experience/skills. thanks.

MS Word has a resume wizard and templates online.
That's what I use.
