Write speed option only 40X in 52X Cendyne in Nero

Apologize if this has been answered already. I could not find in with search. Recently installed a Cendyne 52X (Lite-on) drive, with the Nero software. I find that the write speed option in the Nero is only up to a max of 40X. Is there anything that needs to be done before I will be able to select a higher speed? Nero info toolkit correctly shows the max write speed as 52X. TIA
 
The drive is rated to burn at 52x but the blank cd is only rated to burn at 40x hence maxium burn speed is 40x.
