I get "write retries"(about 1-2 of them) when backing up a dvd in dvddecrypter. Usually I think it shows 0 when I use ricoh dvd+r but recently I bought cheap dvd-r disc(prodisc3) and noticed I get 1-2 "write retries". I do not know if that is good or bad to get write retries but the dvd burned passes on the "media error test" in dvdinfopro and seems to play well. I can't find info on what write retries is all about. Is it trying to write retrying during the burn, does not seem good?
