Write Keyboard (PS/2) device Drivers

I have a keyboard which has extra buttons (sound controls, etc) the drivers don't work under win XP.

Where can I look for info on developing a device driver for this? It is a PS/2 device.

Also, is there any recommend software for developing PS/2 keyboard drivers.
