"Write Delayed Failed" on new DVD+RW

Hi guys,
My new dell came w/ a DVD+RW (NEC ND-1100A) drive. I recently got some DVD+RW media and I tried copying a load of data into it. However, whenever I perform this operation, I get this "Write Delayed Failed" message. Did any of you guys encounter this problem? Is there a solution?

[Remedy]

Are you getting this error before the data meets the disc, during the writing stage or after the disc is finish? Which brand of PlusRW disc are you using?
