Wrist support for mouse hand

BOK

Banned
After years of computer use, my right hand (mouse hand) is starting to develop a lot of pain. Pain in the wrist, up my arm, to my shoulder, and at times, in the back to the shoulderblade. I even find myself at times using my left hand to move the mouse because of the pain.

I've seen these wrist support pads that are made of lycra (or something like that). They have ones for keyboards, and mousepad/wrist pad combos for mice.

Question: does anyone have any experience with these? Do they help?

I had the same problem. I actually developed a knot on the side of my wrist that was quite painful. I got one of those Kensington gel mousepads with a built in "wrist rest" and now my problems are solved. I haven't had any more trouble.

I've been doing a lot better ever since I started using a trackball--move your arm/hand/wrist a lot less, and the grip is better for me.

Just a thought.
