Wreckage (landing gear) from 9/11 found between buildings.

Nearly 12 years after the attack on the World Trade Center by two commercial airliners on September 11, 2001, the NYPD said Friday that a piece of the landing gear from one of those planes had been found.

Police said it was discovered wedged between the rear of 51 Park Place and the rear of the building behind it, 50 Murray Street, in lower Manhattan.

Rather weird story. I wonder if there are other pieces from the planes that will be found later.

The Flight 93 flight data recorders were recovered. The Flight 77 black boxes were also removed from the Pentagon, but one of them (the cockpit voice recorder) was too badly damaged to be used. The only boxes not to be recovered were from the World Trade Centre impacts (although one story says otherwise: more on that below).
How could even three black boxes be destroyed? These were exceptional crashes: most impacts will be at far lower speeds as the pilot attempts to limit damage, not into a mass of steel columns, and not ending inside a building where they'll be exposed to fire and without (potentially, in the case of the WTC) enormous crush damage from many floors of a building falling onto them.
The potential end result of this trauma was revealed in a photo of the American Airlines Flight 77 cockpit voice recorder, released at the Moussaoui trial.

It seems the Cone of Particulates resulting from the aircraft strikes on the two towers on 9/11 needs having its distance reevaluated a bit beyond where they originally calculated.

This find must have come from the aircraft traveling South to North and striking Tower Two. Given the agreed upon speed of that aircraft upon hitting Tower Two, I'd think 500 meters should be the minimum distance from the point of impact to the apex of the Cone.

Body parts should be found anywhere in that Cone and other bits and pieces of stuff as well... It is high time someone tries to give closure to the folks still missing any trace of loved ones.

Is it? Why? I don't see the need to spend any money searching for parts of bodies of people that we know are long dead. I don't see any need or reason to do that for the families of the victims. It isn't the same as a son or daughter that goes missing for 12 years with never a body to be found.

It was most likely under tens of thousands of tons of unstable rubble. It's not really a stretch because even today an unexploded bomb from ww2v is found in Europe.
