Hey,
I've been hanging out for a high refresh WQHD (3440x1440) Freesync monitor for ages and I thought the Sammy CF791 (C34F791) was going to be my savior. Then I discovered the actual Freesync range was 80-100Hz, and the selectable the "ultimate" range (48-100Hz, needed for LFC) caused flickering in "some" (read "most") games. Useless.
Then I found another beauty up for pre-order in my local store, the Asus MX34VQ, and down the bottom of the specs list I noticed "3)Adaptive Sync support range from 48Hz-100Hz". Needless to say I pulled the trigger. But even then I noticed there was zero reference to "Freesync", and absolutely minimal reference to "Adaptive Sync" at all. Now it appears even that reference on the official site is gone (tho google still has a cached search result from ASUS Canada).
Is my search doomed to continue? What other options are out or on the horizon?
Cheers
