There's not any antes in Texas Hold'Em, correct? So why do they have antes in the WPT. I was watching it last night and at one point the following came on the screen...

ANTES = 2,000 BLINDS = 6,000/12,000

So does this mean every player has money in every pot whether they see the flop or not?
 
when the stakes get higher many times tables will have antes and blinds to keep from just folding around so the table just doesnt exchange blinds, the ante encourages people to play hands that they might not have normally as there are usually only a few people left on the table when antes are introduced
