WPM 9 makes cds burned with another app unplayable on other players?

Is is true that by just having Windows Media Player 9 installed, any cds that you burn, say mp3s from the library of another app e.g. MusicMatch, Winamp, etc. will not be playable on another pc or another mp3 player - because of DRM...?
