WPCREDIT for NForce2??

Rotax

I can't believe I didn't come up with ANY results on a wpcredit search here. I'm currently using this w/ my mobo, using the KX133 "files" which works for me on my board. I was wondering if there are "files" (not sure exactly what they're called off hand) for the nforce2 chipset..? I love this because I can enable the "idle" thread on my cpu thus bringing my temps down to case temp or a degree or so lower. This is on a on die temp reading as well.. So it works VERY well imo.. Or is there possibly another program of the sort, very small and unobtrusive, that takes up VERY little mem, or actually runs as a service as wpcredit does? I know there are CPU idle programs, etc, but they are to bloated and add to much junk I don't need. I like to keep things simple..

You don't need specific "file" for nforce when using WPCREDIT. Just locate offset "6F", and change data to "1F". Good chance it'd work but it might not for all. It works on my 8RDA+ until I flashed to BIOS 0609.

btw those files are called pcr files
might help you on your escapade

if you update to latest bios, it has some halt command "built in" usually i think to lower NB temps
cpu im not sure of
i dont feel the need to do so wtih my slk800 lol
