wpa woes

Trying to secure my wireless network. Trying wpa and it works but always disconnects after a while (when the keys change?). When I manually tell it to connect it works again (after taking a couple of minutes to re-inform itself, get the right IP address etc.. Resetting the computer also works. However otherwise it won't reconnect automatically at all.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I had a similar problem with WEP. I had the "Use 802.11x authentication" box checked and it would drop the connection all the time. I don't know if that would affect WPA, but it might be something similar.

All Belkin wireless-G stuff. Says it supports wma on the box. Their software doesn't do it directly so I was having windows xp manage it.

Get a better wifi router. Buffalo tech or SMC 2804wbr have worked VERY well in all the home enviros I have set them up in.
