Give me a break😉 That POS can't even keep up with the current Lightning...let alone the SRT-10. Hell, the new X-Runner would probably kick the living sh!t out of it

The X probably would with the supercharger in it. I was being facetious anyways.

I know you were. The SS is a joke anyway. Toyota has been VERY consertive with the performance figures of the new Tacoma. When a 4x4 Tacoma Long-Bed Crew TRD can rip 0-60 in 7.5 seconds with a 6-speed manual, the lighter X-Runner 4x2 X-Cab with the 6-speed and same engine would no doubt be at least a second or so quicker...that would easily top the SS. Add the supercharger and it wouldn't even be funny 🙂

That's a shame - the concept truck looked awesome, and IMO the Dodge is far less viable in the real world, because that Viper engine will require frequent and VERY expensive maintenance.

It's pointless, IMO, but rednecks love it, so they should build it.
SVT mustang is gonna have IRS? Did they design the platform to accept both IRS and SRA?
I think they should offer IRS as an option on all Mustangs.

i don't undestand performance pickup trucks.

When you can do 0-60 in 5.2 while still carrying 50 10' 2x4's or a boat..then you'll understand.

F150 cannot do 0-60 in 5.2s while towing a boat.

I didn't mean at the same time, I meant dual roles.

Bad luck. We had that in the UK, the Focus RS. Rancid little machine.

As for the F150 L.... Sh1t not given.

Got any info on that maintenance cost / frequency?

That's a shame, always liked the Lightnings.
saw a white one for sale the other day sitting out front of a house on a secondary highway nearby... looked so nice.. wouldn't mind having that one!

Well it doesn't really matter that much. It would've been nice though, as competition is always a good thing.

The real power war is going on between Ford, Chevy, and Dodge with their diesel pickups. I swear the output of those engines change once a week as they try to outdo each other.
