First they decide to delete some of their most popular forums..... Now i just get a PM from a moderator saying that a post i made violated a forum rule and therefore has been deleted...

Now, thats totally cool, i understand that.... BUT i made the post close to 9-12 months ago...... 😀

I dunno.... I just find it ironic that so many people that got banned over here went over to FW, but now FW is more moderated than AT is 🙂 The number of banned words over there is crazy.

Apparently they AREN'T some of their most popular forums...
total site traffic for all those categories was about 5%.

Deleting a post you made months ago is too funny. A mod must have been bored.
 
They're being eliminated but being left open for a little while to allow posters to find other forums, copy stuff, print things, whatever.

edit: note to self - learn to refresh before posting. Saves duplicate efforts.

Tim needs to deep 6 politically incorrect too, it's an abuse of innocent electrons to keep it running as long as the Democratic Underground forums are up &amp; running, same goes for P&amp;N here.

Perhaps if they just redirect the url to the http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/ instead of P&amp;N, no one will notice😉
 
A thread there I posted in got deleted and I had several moderator PMs about my posts being deleted 😀 It was a thread about cheap lube at Amazon and I posted one of the customer reviews @ Amazon that was one sentence consisting of "now we don't have to use butter anymore." 😀 I'm honestly surprised it lasted as long as it did. 😀

I don't get it, why would they get rid of their FS/FT forum? Ours is bursting with activity, wouldn't theirs be even busier?
