wait a minute, you CHARGE for your party? and if you do isn't that illegal? Charging people for alcohol w/o a liquor license?
You charge for the cups, I'm not really sure of the legality of it though. Beer isn't free man :)

man all the parties we had in college were free, never charged for anything. It was the norm in my college town.

We got about $150 for the nintendo and games.
we bought 2 kegs to start. and with the money we collected, we got another 2

we made $60 profit on the night.

its a house party. it is the norm at my school to charge $3 to drink all night. The jell-o shots were 2 for $1. which is a great deal.

Hey if you're gonna break the law and serve minors, might as well go all out.

We did not have any legal responsibility to anyone in that house. We did not sign for the kegs. In PA, the only person responsible for the kegs is the person that buys them. We got them from a friend in another town who did not have to sign for them. We were in the clear. Its nice having 2 pre-law majors for roomates.
the only thing we can get is a noise violation. and we take every precaution that we dont get one of them.

our close friends drink for free. other than that we charge. We are poor college students, we cant afford to blow $250 every weekend. So we try to get our money back.

and if you think about it. if you were to go the bar. $3 buys you only a few beers. Here you can drink your face off, and not break the bank

it's pretty much expected for people to charge for a party, how else would they be able to buy the kegs/alcohol, etc.?

and by the way, you had some serious hotties at that party, good job

i dont see why not pay for a party. you would spend so much more at the bars.
