Wow, USPS just surprised me...

So at 3:30pm today (Christmas Eve) I'm feeding my 3 week old son and the door bell rings. I go to answer it and it's a friendly representative from the US Postal Service here to deliver a package to me. It's actually a present for me, my wife's not around so I hope she doesnt mind I saw that it's from Performance PCs... hehe.

I thought that them delivering on an "off" day was rather nice being it is a Sunday and all, I guess they are pulling some big OT to make sure everyone gets their Christmas toys in time...

Kind of funny in light of all the "UPS sucks and here's why..." threads of late... 🙂
 
They will even deliver on Christmas if a truck comes in with a package betweeen today and monday morning. My dad works for the PO he is a Post master poor people they work all the time.

Hmmm. I have a package i missed the other day. Do you think I could call USPS and have them deliver it or maybe pick it up?
 
Standard mail isn't being delivered, and the offices are closed, but lots of parcels are still being processed and delivered today.

That's what UPS is doing to me with my new freaking projector. UPS FTL.
 
is fedex doing it? Doubt it. cause I've yet to get mine and they've had it like 30mins from me since 4:54am yesterday. Says delivery next business day. It's christmas. Give me my damn package work overtime!

They're almost the only way we (military overseas) can get stuff delivered. FedEx and UPS charges for delivery overseas are ridiculous.
