Wow...this is really weird.

So I was taking some pics of my old GeForce 256 DDR so that I could try to get a little bit of money for it, and the weirdest thing happened. I picked up the card to move it into a different position for another pic, and a capacitor just fell off of it. I took a look at it and it looks like the capacitor was just barely soldered on, the solder holding it on was as thin as a hair. I remember paying $200 for this card when it came out...I had the most badass machine back then 😛

Oh well, guess I can't even get $20 out of it anymore. Damn capacitors 😛

Just send the card to me, and give me the numbers on the capacitor. 🙂
 
Heh, that's the same vid card I've got - when I upgrade it probably won't even be worth the money it'd cost to ship it 😉 (which is soon)
 
i had to solder a cap back onto my guitar amp. it was lose and making things sound like crap. of course, the circuit boards on guitar amps are pretty basic compared to a video card. 😉
