Wow this is amazing!!

Yeah, Apocolyptica is sweet. I've known about them for atleast 7 years, Then again I am a cellist of 10 years, so I would tend to know of such things.

I think that is one of the worst things I've ever heard, to be honest. It could have been the recording, or perhaps I don't know Enter Sandman that well, but it sounded like they were out of tune for most of the song.

I've seen people do creative things with some of the more classical string instruments, but this wasn't one of them, imo.

Sorry for thread crapping.

While there is definitely something cool about it, there's just something missing. In all honesty, wouldn't it be kinda underwhelming? A full orchestra in an auditorium designed for sound yeah, but 3 Cellos on a normal rock stage? And sorry, but there's just something incredibly silly looking about some grungy looking guy headbangin while playing a Cello.

Whats your people's thoughts on the String Quartet Tribute stuff?

Meh, I agree. It didn't sound that good, but I'm far from an expert.

Welcome to along time ago (like 1999). That sh1t pwns tho, my favorite include Unforgiven and Fade to Black.

Meh, the biggest problem is that they rarely play the guitarsolos. I own one of their albums and out of the eight covers, they only do solos in Enter Sandman and Sanitarium.
