what does it not being AWD have to with anything? So maybe it doesnt get a .97 on the skidpad becuase its rear wheel drive... doesnt mean i wouldnt rather have one in a race though.. the 350 is just an overall nicer car.
And just when you do I'll switch. I'm still not used to it 😛Originally posted by: radioouman
It's going to take me a LONG time to get used to your new icon, Skoorb

Skoorb mentioned "$30k gets you an AWD with 271 horsepower". You countered with a RWD car. Not quite the same market.
Thus my comment.
Is there any other car at this price that would take the evo on a track?

I thought the same thing, the other day when he changed it.. 😱
I don't think a Z could keep up. The Evo not only handles better, but it's slightly faster in the straights. The only car I can even think of that handles that well even near this price is something like the Lotus Elise (not available in America, but it regularly gets tested at well over 1.00 g on the skidpad). I've seen the Miata tested as high as .94 g's, as well, but of course it's way slower than the Evo.Originally posted by: Skoorb

I wonder if a $30k version of the 350z could compete with this around the track? It could compete, but .97 on the skidpad really is awesome.
It's ok, but nothing spectacular. It's also a mitsubishi which isn't a strong point IMO.Originally posted by: Beau
Am I the only one that thinks the EVO is butt ugly?
G35 Coupe > 350Z > EVO > WRX
No, I don't like the looks either. For pure price/performance ratio, though, it's unbelievable.Originally posted by: Beau
