Looking at most of the projects I have participated in, our TeAm is really showing how well we can do across the board, in multiple projects, without having to resort to a "gauntlet" type of race. For those who don't know, a gauntlet is pretty much a focus on just one project, while ignoring others. The team which uses the gauntlet manages to get a tremendous lead to a point where they are almost uncatchable for a long period, and then crunches for another project, gets a huge lead, and so on.

The most exciting news going on is in SETI, where we currently rank #6, and well within 1 or 2 days to overtake 2 teams, into 5th place. We are outproducing, and outrecruiting our friendly rivals, BBR/Team Starfire. We have been going at it for a while, they overtook us sometime last month, but with help from Adul with posting news items on the main page, and our hardwork and dedication, we've managed to gather new recruits, and produce amazing results to turn the tides! Of course, the "war" isn't over yet, SETI1 has another couple of months to go, but as long as we don't slow down, our #5 spot looks pretty secure :)

In TeAm DPAD, because of all these DPad recruiting threads, we've managed to take pretty much a one man army (DanC), and turn it into a real group effort! About 3 months ago, the project was pretty much ignored, and we had very few members produce for it. Now, we have daily stats, weekly productions, new member threads, and frequent updates to the status of the project. Now it seems to be one of our larger projects at the moment! Every other week, we put out larger and larger dumps, beating our old "records". We are currently 5th, but outproduce every other team, and now we are now on the road to take 1st place in DPAD by July 7th 2004!

In Seventeen or Bust (SoB), we overtook Team PrimeRib some time ago in a very large and intense "war", much like the TeAm/BBR "conflict" going on now. We have managed to come through, and we currently outproduce our closest competitor by at least 2 times there production. We have a HUGE lead over every team, and it doesn't look like we're going to get passed anytime soon.

I know we participate in many more projects, but unfortantly, I never really followed them as I should have, so I have no real useful information. Though, if you did participate in another project, and you would like to share how well we've been doing, go ahead and don't hestitate to create your own thread, or just reply in this one.

I just thought it would be nice to update The TeAm on how well we've been doing on multiple fronts, and show how TeAmwork and dedication really comes through.

Cheers!

Our #1 ranked d2ol team looks to be in real danger of losing that #1 ranking to the DPC within a month or two if they don't get some real help soon as the DPC has ramped up their production with nearly 200 new members since the first of the year!

We continue to drop places in F@H, but other than that, the State of the TeAm Address sounds pretty good. :)

Get in here & share you experiences. Recruiters, this means you. On another note, I nominate DanC for President of Anandtech DC operations. Dan your pep would be so valuable in getting people to join The TeAm, regardless of what project. Maybe you should get some free air time on C-Span, & start jumping around like Matthew Lesko does in his commercials, suit & all. Some of our teams are really slipping, & could use the extra boost, or they might be forgotten when the time comes to choose something else after seti.

Ok, no more coke before lunch(j/k). I'll settle down.

If only I could get people to join me in running lifemapper. We are currently in 31st place.
The relatively new cli client lets me crunch around 150 units per day on my 3.2ghz.

Hang in there!

Once SETI 1 ends, you're gonna get a big boost in members, I'm sure! :D

I'll continue F@H, anyway, as I just can't bring myself to stop cancer reasearch, and start looking for aliens, especially as I don't know when it will end
I hope this isn't too far off the thread's topic, but I really didn't want to punch a hole in your fun with seti by starting a new thread
