Seems maybe a new inventory control system at AMD has led to supply chain problems.



AMD suffers shortages as stock system skewed.

The problem, it seems, is in AMD's inventory control software. About three weeks ago, AMD switched to a new system, and slight problems occurred. Those slight problems prevented AMD from shipping anything for almost two weeks. D'oh!

This seems to be the case lately, with all the high-demand, short-supply products out lately. Sad to see, but Newegg is a business after all, I'd do it too.
