The forum diyalarmforum.com is pretty much worthless as almost everything they will tell you to search for or just ignore the posting.

I was told 'a search would yield my answer' which I replied every post was answered with either search for the same thing I was looking for or simply not responded too. I asked why not just answer the question or ignore the topic if you just want to tell someone to search for the answer.

They decided to ban me for that.

Anyway, all my answers have come from google and figuring out on my own...that forum is just pimping HomeSecurityStore.com's over priced goods.

I am glad I didn't choose them for a security vendor.

Must be nice to alienate potential customers in this economy.

Alarmsystemstore.com's people are much more user-friendly.

Some MOD/ forums are just full of tossers.

So what does your home diy alarm setup look like?

I started a really stupid forum called twopumpchumps.com just because I wanted to use vbulletin, and the domain name sounded hilarous. I haven't heard of that site though. Sounds like a marketing domain.

I'd rather just get robbed again instead of buy all of that and install it.

Installing this took almost no time compared to the third week of still compliing my loss report and cleaning up the mess left behind. Not to mention the irreplacable items.

If you have no stuff to take a security system would be pointless though.

I am looking at a $20k loss...the system cost under $2k with all the extras.

why wouldnt you ask rubycon? i bet she could install that alarm system with one hand tied behind her back, blind folded, while riding a unicycle and playing a ukalaili

and she would install that system with no flaws
