I was hoping this would be IBM's one-inch CRT I've heard they were working on.
I could stand that..... the size of an LCD with the quality of a CRT. Less expensive than LCD too! (maybe not for the first year...)

And you people hoping for holodecks.... well... get a life. 😉

Me want!!. the display will have to be big i suppose... and more thatn the 'hundreds or colours' they got.
 
Ten years from now i would like a nice big plasma screen for my primary display, VR headset for gaming and one of the above for my own Virtual Tropical Rainforest.
Just one step down the road to becoming a chair ridden moron i guess, Matrix stylee 😀
If this kind of thing ever ends up in the mainstream consumer domain would be very interesting to see how the media could develope its potential.
Just wonder if i will still be interested when im approaching pension collecting age though as im doubting we will ever see this go mainstream entertainment in my working life 🙁
