I cant believe that my delta black label fan just died, so now I can't even use my desktop anymore. Boooooo

Has your fan ever died?

I took my delta off and replaced it with a 120mm fan. The high pitch of the delta finally became too much for me.

Of course now, I'm paranoid that the 120mm fan is going to somehow fail, so I don't like to leave my computer on when I'm not around.

And no, none of my fans have ever died.

I've got a twin-fan setup on my Slot-I Pentium III. One of the fans is in desperate need of replacement. It takes maybe an hour or so to adequately spin up to speed. Until then, it's "CHUNK, CH-CHNK, CLUNK" ;)

The fan on my thermal take 7+ crapped out for no reason. Started wondering why my computer started smelling like burning electric after a couple seconds of turning on. Took me a while to figure that one out :) Luckily the 2000+ it was on is still fine and dandy! Replaced it with a quad red led fan. Looks quite cool now ;)
