Woohoo!! Tennessee lost. BYU is threatening to sue. Oregon, Colorado, and Nebraska all want to go to the Rose Bowl. This should bring some more heated criticism to the BCS. Hehehe. I'm glad it all worked out this way, just so controversies can fly! Don't forget to vote for MIAMI'S oppoenent HERE.

GO OREGON! :D

I saw this and at first thought it was a basketball score. Did they play with only 3 d-men? ;)

BYU's 11 man defense is similiar to any good teams 3 man D :)

BYU was a SCAM.... and thousands fell for it.

They were such a joke this season

I didn't fall for the BYU scam. I figure that if a team goes undefeated but doesn't play any real team then they get what they deserve. They should then start scheduling real teams for the future if they want to be considered for a BCS bowl.

@ Utah State

2003 Scheduled teams
Nevada
@ Southern Cal
Georgia Tech
Stanford
@ Notre Dame
2004 Scheduled Teams
Southern Cal
@ Stanford
Notre Dame
@ Louisiana State
2005 Schedule teams

2006 scheduled teams

I like their schedules for the up-coming years.
They've signed on UCLA, Notre Dame, and LSU to multi-year deals... thats a start.

Then of course, you have their Conference schedule... the MWC isnt that tough - but 1 or 2 teams could emerge in those 5 years.

Oregon is #2 on the AP and Coaches Polls, yet they are behind a 2 loss team called Colorado? Yes, they did whip Nebraska and squeaked by Texas, but Oregon also squeaked by Oregon State. Stupid BCS. If it wasn't all about moolah, then a playoff picture would probably be in the future of college football bowl games.

**Note, I'm not an expert football analyst. I just read what's on the web and post my opinion. :)

weirdichi,

oregon is ahead of colorado in the polls...but just the coaches and AP.

There are several rankings (8...each one unique) that go into the formula that is the BCS.

Those havent all been released yet - so offcially we wont know if Colorado is ahead of Oregon until Tomorrow.

Unofficially they are .5 points behind Nebraska who is #2.

Uh, I thought they anounced final BCS rankings today?

And sqeaking by an unranked team IS entirely different(even in bad weather), than sqeaking by a #3 team... Blowing out Nebraska and beating Texas back to back IS ALOT better than eeking by a #16 team and then an unranked team.

BOO. Let the bitching begin, .05... Poor CU, so close, but so far... I will laugh my ass off if CU gets the AP title and Nebraska gets the BCS title...

Yah, you know now... obviously.. .but I didnt think they'd release all the rankings today. They're factored in there...just didnt think they'd show them until tomorrow. I mis-phrased what I wanted to say :)

It wont matter a bit, because Miami is going to take care of Nebraska.

You never know. Miami barely won vs VT. I mean, if VT had a decent QB Miami would have lost. So who knows, I dont think its a sure bet for Miami to win... Im hoping for split titles, just to see the BCS folks try and come up with reasons why the BCS should stay around...

I'd like to see Oregon get the nod but I know that whoever it is will be pretty moot since Miami's pretty untouchable
