wow thats crazy...lights flashing cause speakers static 2 rooms over!

the flourescent light in my kitchen doesnt work to well and sometimes u have to flick the switch to get it on...well my g/f was doing that and each time static came out of my speakers 2 rooms away!

 
You're just causing a spike in the electrical system in your house. Same thing if someone uses the vacuum cleaner downstairs, I can tell if they turn in on or off.
